We are located along Shiloh Trail in China Spring, TX.
For safety and privacy, our full address is shared after your booking request is approved.
Are you a licensed facility?
Shiloh Trail Boarding Co. operates as a fully insured, home-based boarding service.
We provide personalized, in-home care rather than a commercial kennel environment.
What vaccinations are required?
All dogs must be current on:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP)
Bordetella
We require proof of vaccination before your dog’s stay.
What are your check-in and pickup hours?
Check-In: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Check-Out: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
Pickups after 9:00 PM convert to an Overnight Boarding fee.
Do you accept aggressive or anxious dogs?
We accept dogs who are friendly, social, and safe in a home environment.
Dogs showing aggression, extreme reactivity, or unsafe behaviors may not be a good fit for our setting.
A meet-and-greet may be recommended for certain cases.
Can you administer medications?
Yes — we can administer oral medications such as pills or drops.
We do not administer injections.
Please include clear instructions in your booking request.
Can I bring my dog’s bed, toys, or blankets?
Absolutely. Bringing familiar items can help your dog feel more comfortable.
Please note we are not responsible for damage to personal belongings.
Do you provide food?
We ask that you bring your dog’s regular food, pre-bagged if possible.
A consistent diet helps avoid stomach issues during their stay.
What if my dog becomes sick or injured?
We will contact you immediately.
If urgent care is needed, we will take your dog to the nearest veterinarian.
All vet costs are the responsibility of the owner.
Our pet-care liability insurance may cover qualifying incidents.
Is there a discount for multiple dogs?
Yes — additional dogs from the same household receive a per-night discounted rate.
This will be applied when invoicing after your booking request.
What is your cancellation policy?
Boarding:
48+ hours before check-in → Full refund
24–48 hours → 50% refund
Less than 24 hours → No refund
Daycare:
No refunds after drop-off
Same-day cancellations may receive credit at our discretion
Holiday bookings:
Non-refundable within 7 days of the holiday.
How do I book a stay?
Fill out our Booking Request Form
We review and confirm availability
You receive a custom invoice via Squarespace
Payment completes your reservation
We approve each request individually to ensure a safe, appropriate match for your dog.
Can I tour your home before booking?
For privacy reasons, we do not offer walk-through tours.
However, we can provide photos and arrange a short outdoor meet-and-greet if needed.
